Special Collections

Special Collections is the home for the archives of St. Lawrence University, our Manuscript collections, and a Rare Book collection that bespeaks the intellectual history of St. Lawrence University.  We are a teaching archive.  We are a resource for how to appraise unique materials, and for seeing printed matter anew.

WORD Studio

Fast Facts

We are more than a “writing center.” “WORD” is an acronym:

W: Written Communication (for example, papers)
O: Oral Communication (for example, speeches)
R: Reading (we help you hone your reading comprehension skills)
D: Design (for example, posters, and PowerPoint)

We're here for any communication need—not just papers.
