Launders Science Library is proud to host a selection of photographs from "Through the Narrows: Meditations on an Adirondack River" by Kristin V. Rehder. The exhibit features a selection of photos that were previously shown at the Richard F. Brush Art Gallery in 2018. Rehder's black and white photos are an exploration of the East Branch of the Oswegatchie River. These ethereal photographs were captured using a vintage 1945 Rolleiflex twin-lens reflex film camera, many taken from the artist's kayak!
Learn more about the exhibit by reading the artist's statement and a feature story on NCPR by Dale Hobson.
Many thanks to Catherine Tedford and Carole Mathey for bringing this collection of photographs to the Science Library.
