Our Manuscript collection is comprised of 221 distinct collections, comprising nearly 1800 linear feet of material. Each of these collections is described in brief on records in the SLU Libraries’ online catalog. Most materials housed in libraries are available for checkout (with an AVAILABLE designation in the libraries' catalog) at the service desk in ODY or Launders Science Library.

Directions & Parking

The Owen D. Young Library (ODY Library) is located at 63 Park Street, near the corner of Park and University Avenue, next to the arboretum. The main entrance to the library faces the Creasy Commons, across from Gunnison Chapel.

Elberty Laboratory for Spatial Analysis

On Saturday, October 28, 2006 the Spatial Analysis Lab in Launders Science Library was dedicated in memory of William T. Elberty Jr., Professor Emeritus of Geology and Geography from 1958 to 1999.

Family and friends spoke at the dedication, which was attended by over 60 people from all parts of the country.
