Special Collections is the home for the archives of St. Lawrence University, our Manuscript collections, and a Rare Book collection that bespeaks the intellectual history of St. Lawrence University. We are a teaching archive. We are a resource for how to appraise unique materials, and for seeing printed matter anew.
The newly constructed seminar space features an 80-inch flat-panel monitor and seats 15 students and one instructor. Faculty can bring their own laptop to connect to the screen - or arrange to borrow one from the ODY circulation desk.

Services and Resources We Offer:
Our research consultation program connects you with a librarian on the reference staff who can give you more extensive one-on-one help with a research paper or project. This help involves assisting you in assessing an assignment, devising a research strategy, and reviewing databases appropriate to the assignment.
Reserves are specific books, articles and other materials which faculty assign for a particular course. Reserve materials are located at the ODY Service Desk. They can be checked out for short periods of time and must be used within the library.
Vending Machines for purchasing cold beverages, snacks, coffee and tea pods. Keurig machine supplies brought to you by Thelmo.
