Description
The newly constructed seminar space features an 80-inch flat-panel monitor and seats 15 students and one instructor. Faculty can bring their own laptop to connect to the screen - or arrange to borrow one from the ODY circulation desk.
The Fox Seminar, also known as the Glass Seminar, or the Fishbowl, is designed to be a high-visibility location where faculty and students can engage while situated in a central location within the library - the opportunity to leverage the library's extensive support infrastructure. The seminar room adjoins the library's Digital Scholarship Lab, allowing for dual-focus workshops that combine a seminar experience with hands-on digital scholarship.
Available to be reserved for regularly scheduled classes - in coordination with registrar. All other times available for non-reserved student group study.
Flat-panel for BYODevice a/v display. Display wirelessly from Airplay capable Macbook or iOS device or wired connection using HDMI, Displayport, or VGA (adapters available at the Service Desk). Glass walls may be used as a dry-erase writing surface. A mobile whiteboard is available by request.
