Records in this collection include business correspondence, telegrams, invoices, orders, insurance papers and legal documents, as well as product catalogs, advertising proofs and testimonial letters from customers. Most of the records are filed by loose date ranges in acid-free folders, however the collection also includes one bound scrapbook containing documents similar to those in folders. It is worth noting that much of the correspondence from outside businesses to the Evans Company, whether typed or hand-written, appears on often elaborately printed letterheads that were popular in the early 20th century.
