The collection consists of many letters written primarily by Nick and Robert Cocco to their mother Jennie in Philadelphia, NY. There are a few letters written by Paul Cocco to his mother, but the documents associated with Paul are mostly ephemeral; concert programs, flyers, post cards and the like. The collection also contains several diaries kept by Jennie Cocco, two of which are in Italian, and a number of letters and greeting cards written mostly by people other than her three sons. Newspaper clippings about the sons’ military service are also included.
