Thanks to a generous Innovation Grant, the Launders Science Library has teamed up with Nature Up North to provide a variety of tools to help the SLU community get outside and enjoy nature!  

Items available to check out for a three (3) day period:

  • A wide variety of field guides including birds, trees, mammals, insects, wildflowers, ferns, mosses, rocks, the night sky, track and scat identifiers, and much more.  
  • LL Bean Backpacks.
  • High quality binoculars.
  • Bug boxes.
  • Maps of regional trails.
