Eric brings together his knowledge of scholarly resources and emerging technologies to help the libraries and IT focus on the planning, implementation, and support of digital projects such as library web resources, digital collections, and institutional repositories. He provides leadership in the consideration, use, and support of new and emerging technologies and publishing trends, such as e-books, data repositories, mobile applications, open access, and open data.

Eric provides technical and planning assistance to faculty in support of the digital scholarship, data management, and creative work associated with digitally-oriented teaching and research across the University.

He received his undergraduate degree in Philosophy from St. Lawrence University, a Master’s in Library and Information Science from Simmons College and is a 2007 Frye Leadership Institute fellow.
