An introduction to ordinary differential equations with an emphasis on modeling real-world phenomena, such as population, pollution, species interactions, and disease spread. Types of equations considered include first-order equations, second-order linear equations, and linear systems. Topics may include linearization and nullclines for nonlinear systems, LaPlace transforms, and series solutions. Prerequisite: MATH-136
